Adam Janikowski, PhD

Dr. Janikowski is an experienced cold weather explorer. Originally from Canada, he has lived and worked in the UK, France, Japan and Hong Kong. He has climbed five of the seven summits, the tallest mountain on each continent, including a successful summit of Mt. Everest. He also spent time on a dog sled expedition north of the arctic circle on behalf of the Scott Polar Research Institute of Cambridge University.

Dr. Janikowski is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Canadian Royal Geographical Society, and a member of the Explorers Club where he has been honoured to carry the club’s iconic flag four times, including twice as the expedition leader.
