Originally from Maine, Sam has been based in the Asia Pacific Region for nearly ten years. He has served as the Treasurer of the Hong Kong Chapter since 2017.
Sam is an active member of the Chapter, joining the Club’s back country ski trips in Kazakstan and Kashmir. In 2018, he was member of the Roy Chapman Andrew Centennial Expedition Team, assisting in field research in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia.
Sam is also one of Hong Kong’s top endurance athletes, competing in a variety of races across the globe.
